The service life of wear-resistant parts is usually short, 3 months, 1 month, or even two weeks. Too frequent replacement greatly increases the cost. How can we prolong its service life and reduce investment? First of all, we need to know what factors are related to the service life of wear parts:
1. Wear-resistant materials
The choice of wear-resistant material is the most important factor. Generally speaking, the jaw plate, the upper and lower guard plates, the mortar wall, the crushing wall and the impact plate are made of high manganese steel. The grinding disc liner is made of high-chromium cast iron, and the wheel guard ring, grinding roller, grinding ring, blade and shaft pin are usually made of wear-resistant alloy steel.
The selection of wear-resistant parts should comprehensively consider its price, processing, production, replacement costs, etc. There are also differences in hardness, toughness and application occasions of different materials. In comparison, high manganese steel has low hardness, high toughness and low cost, high chromium cast iron has high hardness, low toughness and high cost, and wear-resistant alloy steel has hardness and toughness between the two.
2. Material hardness

4. Maintenance
As the running time of the equipment increases, the operator must check and adjust the current condition of each component to make it in the best production state and reduce the impact on the wear parts. For example, the improper clearance between the hammered rotor and the counterattack plate, the grate and the hammer head may cause material accumulation, and then the hammer head is subject to serious friction and wear.
